Agreement
This workshop sets out to convert the latest scientific theory regarding stress, into practical application. In this regard, the workshop will consist of short presentations. Participants may then choose to apply this information to change their stress management strategies during their day-to-day functioning. A short Q & A will be incorporated after each presentation and participants may also share from their own experiences towards assisting others.
It is important to clarify the following;
• This workshop does not replace individual psychotherapy and should not be used with such intent.
• Attending this workshop may raise awareness with participants that individual therapy may be helpful at a later time.
• Practitioners at the Satori Wellness Centre include several disciplines, and you are welcome to contact them at your own discretion and cost.
• The workshop is presented by qualified and registered Psychologists and as such confidentiality will always be observed by them. You should note that other people at the workshop is not bound by this ethical principal.
• Please, NO technology is allowed to be turned on, or visible in the training venue. There will be regular intervals and you are welcome to check your phone then.
• The presenters do not give permission to be recorded and such an act necessitates legal action.
• Notes will not be provided however participants are advised to bring pen and paper for brief notes.
• Coffee, tea, water and light snacks will be provided. If you need more you are most welcome to bring it along
